We are a non-profit foundation working in Arusha, in Tanzania, and Uganda. Our vision is reducing child mortality. We want to start sustainable projects that will change the future for children at risk! 

 

We want to fight malnutrition in children. We want to provide ways to prevent malnutrition, through education, agriculture and providing food for the families at greatest risk. We need to treat the ones that are already malnurished, preventing additional diseases, complications and premature death. 

 

Our other projects are knitting incubators for premature babies in Africa. There are no incubators in the hospitals in Arusha, and these little ones cannot regulate their body temperature, which leaves them very vulnurable. The babies are also sent home, with extremely low birth weight, only 1,5kg! Volunteers are bringing these incubators with them, when they go to Africa to work.

Lovise got inspiration for this project during her volunteer work in Tanzania 2012. Together with Eirik, they started this project in february 2014. Eirik has also worked as a volunteer in Equador. They are both in medical school, and want to dedicate their lifes to helping others.
